What We’re All About

The inspiration for Cakes and a Cookie comes from my love of baking and my three precious "cakes" and my one and only sweet "cookie", my children.  After becoming a mom baking became yet another way for me to show my love, because what kid doesn't love dessert!  And because I bake for them I make sure to use the simplest, purest ingredients for my simple, classic cookies. My hope is to share this with you and yours, either at your next family dinner or any day you have a craving for something sweet.
